Atlas Copco to acquire Wangen Pumpen

Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the German industrial pump producer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from personal fairness agency Silverfleet Capital.

Headquartered in Wangen in the Allgäu region of Germany, Pumpenfabrik Wangen specialises in progressive cavity pumps used mainly in the biogas and wastewater sectors, and twin-screw pumps for meals and beverage and cosmetics purposes.
Pumpenfabrik Wangen has manufacturing facilities in Germany, a US subsidiary and a world gross sales and service footprint. The firm employs 265 folks and had 2020 revenues of approximately €46.four million.
